1. What is Resort Escapes?

Resort Escapes has been developed to provide people with the opportunity to sample a week of Timeshare at a discounted rate. We work with a handpicked Selection of Resorts in stunning and sought after destinations to provide our customers with a choice to suit their own personal requirements.

2. How does it work?

First review the Eligibility page to ensure you meet the criteria then from the BUY NOW page you will be directed to secure payment via PayPal. Once the payment is complete you will be issued with the Resort Escapes Voucher that can be redeemed any time within 12 months from the date of purchase.

3. How many nights can I stay?

Resort Escapes entitles you to *7 nights in any partner resort.

Resort Getaways entitles you to *2-4 nights in the relevant Getaways resorts.

4. What else is included?

Your Resort Escapes voucher provides you with accommodation only. Flights, Transfers, Car Rental etc need to be booked and paid for separately at your own cost.

5. What do I have to pay for at the resort?

You will need to pay the Resort for any additional items that you purchase such as upgrades, food and drink. These are optional.

6. Are there any Additional Mandatory Charges?

Generally no. The only exception to this is the Mexican Resorts which charge a Mandatory All Inclusive fee – this is payable to the Resort directly and the amount can be found in the Booking Information within the Resort Listing.

7. Who will provide me with my booking confirmation?

Booking confirmation will be issued by the resort.

8. What is timeshare?

The arrangement whereby several joint owners have the right to use a property as a holiday home under a time-sharing scheme.

9. How are these amazing destinations offered at such low prices?

In order to receive these incredible discounts all we ask is that you put aside a morning or an afternoon of your holiday so the resort can show you how all of your future holidays can be of this amazing quality.

10. Do I have to attend the presentation?

Yes, you are receiving the Resort Accommodation at a discounted rate on the basis that you will attend a presentation at some point during your stay. This will be arranged with the Resort directly.

11. How long is the presentation?

A presentation typically lasts for 2 hours, however the Resort suggest that you set aside either a morning or afternoon of your time.

12. What if I don’t want to attend the presentation?

The Resort has the right to charge you the full Retail rate of the Resort accommodation if you refuse to attend the presentation.

13. Why do I need a voucher?

The Voucher contains your unique booking code, which is required in order to submit the booking request to your chosen Resort.

14. Can lost Vouchers/Codes be replaced?

No, lost/stolen/damaged Vouchers/Codes cannot be replaced. We therefore recommend that it is kept in a safe place until you decide to use it.

15. Do I have to buy?

No. Resort Escapes provides you with the opportunity to sample a week of timeshare at your chosen Resort. Whilst the presentation is mandatory, you are not obliged to buy. However, many people do choose to buy once they enjoy the Resort experience and learn more about the benefits of Holiday Ownership.

16. Who is the provider of Resort Escapes?

Resort Escapes is provided by the Connex Marketing Group who have been specialising in accommodation vouchers for more than 25 years.

17. Can I cancel my order?

Yes. Under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you buy online, your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund if you request one in writing within 14 working days of receipt. Please email resortescapes[at]connexgroup.net including your Unique Voucher Code. We will then arrange for your Voucher to be cancelled and a full refund issued back to the original payment method.

18. I have complete my purchase but now decided that the product is not suitable. Can I return it for a refund?

Yes. Under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you buy online, your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund if you request one in writing within 14 working days of receipt. Please email resortescapes[at]connexgroup.net including your Unique Voucher Code. We will then arrange for your Voucher to be cancelled and a full refund issued back to the original payment method.

19. I have made a booking with a resort but am now unable to travel. Can I cancel the booking?

Yes. Please contact the Resort with whom you booked and cancel the booking confirmation directly.

20. If I have a confirmed booking and wish to cancel, can I use my Resort Escapes/Getaways voucher for an alternatve booking?

No, the Resort Escapes Voucher is valid for one booking only.  Once a code has been used against a booking it is automatically invalidated. Should you then decide to cancel your Resort stay the Resort Escapes voucher cannot be used again.

21. My Resort Escapes/Getaways voucher has expired. Can I receive a refund?

No. Resort Escapes vouchers can only be returned and refunded within 14 days of the purchase date.
